Second Street in El Cajon was “Cruiser central” for San Diego County for decades…the “place to be seen” on any weekend night. Balmy and calm evenings made El Cajon the best spot for Chevys, Fords, Dodges and more. Custom paint jobs, dingle dice and drive in waitresses on roller skates were all a part of El Cajon’s Drive In Culture.
